About our festival

Big Sky Crowd.jpg

It's Personal

We nurtured the festival from the start and still run things with the same team of two.

We want to keep the personal touch and have no desire to create a large commercial event

It Makes
a Difference

We bring music to the community through our outreach work.

We give Music Tuition grants to support local students.

It Treads Lightly

We care about our festival and we care about our planet.

No single use plastics.

We recycle all the waste.

We encourage cycling.

It's Local

We use trusted local suppliers and build long term relationships with them.

If you'd like to work with us get in touch.

The story so far

It began in 2014 with the visit to our village from Munich of a band of Lederhosen-clad musicians.  And it's all gone from there.

It’s not a music festival as you might imagine.

There are no commercial stalls, it's simply about the best music and dance, in a lovely countryside venue with a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

But for us it's about more than that one day.

The proceeds allow us to bring music to disadvantaged groups in our community through our outreach work. And we support local students with our Music Tuition grants. The feedback we've had is heart-warming.

We no longer receive Arts Council funding so this work now relies purely on the generosity of festival-goers and donors.

So please support us by coming to join the fun in June!
