An exciting new project for asylum-seeking and refugee musicians

We're delighted to welcome the Dovetail Orchestra to the festival.  It's for asylum-seeking and refugee musicians from all genders and faiths.  They provide instruments if required and perform instrumental acoustic music that celebrates the cultural identities and musical styles of everybody.

We were delighted that the Dovetail Orchestra was among the first recipients of our new Rockhampton Folk Festival grants earlier this year and we're proud to support the amazing work they do.
