Music Tuition Grants

When we started out one of our dreams was to use the proceeds to support and promote local music-making.

These grants are specifically to support individual or group music tuition.

This could, for example, be to help with tuition fees or the purchase of instruments or equipment.

Grants of up to £500 are available.

What our Grant Recipients Say

"The support of the Rockhampton Festival has helped us to support students in need of financial assistance so that money isn't a barrier to learning music. We're incredibly grateful."

Thornbury Area Youth Music

We keep it simple to apply

We know how much hassle it is to apply for funding with complicated application forms that take hours to complete.  So we keep things simple, with a short and easy online application.

When you've finished the form you'll get an email confirmation straight away.

We will respond to every application with a decision soon after the closing date.

Hopefully your application will be successful but If not we'll give you clear, honest feedback.

We're not currently accepting applications but we plan to run the scheme again later in 2025

We assess applications
based on four criteria

The difference a grant would make to you

We want to understand the impact a grant would have.  Is cost a barrier to music tuition for you?

Your Commitment to Music

Tell us why you are committed to learning music and what you have done so far.

Where You Live

We will prioritise applications from our local area i.e. Thornbury plus surrounding towns and villages
