We bring music into our community
Some groups in our community rarely have the opportunity to hear live performance.
So we use the proceeds from the festival to bring music to them.
Our artists have performed to over 3500 people in local schools, care homes and special needs groups. The feedback has been amazing!
We support local performers
In 2022 we gave 15 grants to support the development of music in our community.
For example we helped the development of the amazing Dovetail Orchestra. They provide a welcoming space for asylum-seekers and refugees, building connections through music.

We have supported Ukrainian refugee children to continue their music tuition here.
​
In January 2025 we made the first awards for our Music Tuition Grants, supporting local young musicians. Applications will be open again later in 2025.
